This Privacy Policy describes how ITAG Business Solutions Limited (“ITAG”, “we”, “us”), having its registered office at Subham Plaza, Suite #1C, 1st Floor, 83/1, Dr. S. C. Banerjee Road, Kolkata – 700 010, India, collects and processes personal data through this website, www.itagbs.com (the “Website”). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), ITAG is the data fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through the Website.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect: (a) information you provide to us, such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the contents of your message, when you use the contact form, subscribe to our newsletter (“Join ITAG Network”), apply for a position through the Career page, or otherwise correspond with us; and (b) limited technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and time spent, through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 8.
We do not intend to collect sensitive personal data through the Website. Please do not submit confidential information, or details of any invention, brand or dispute, through the general contact form; such matters should be shared only after an engagement is agreed and appropriate confidentiality is in place.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process personal data collected through the Website to: respond to your enquiries; send newsletters, event information and professional updates you have subscribed to; process job applications; maintain the security and performance of the Website; and comply with law. We process this data on the basis of your consent given at the point of collection, or for such other legitimate uses as are permitted under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the contact in Section 10 or using the unsubscribe link in our emails; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with: (a) service providers who assist us in operating the Website, sending emails and hosting data, under contracts requiring them to protect it; (b) our advisers and associated professionals where necessary to respond to your enquiry; and (c) courts, regulators or authorities where required by law.
5. Cross-border transfer
Personal data may be stored on, or transferred to, servers located outside India (for example, where our hosting or email service providers operate internationally), subject to the restrictions notified under the DPDP Act.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to maintain business records, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing carried out; correction, completion and updating of your data; erasure of your data where it is no longer necessary; grievance redressal; and to nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise these rights, write to the contact in Section 10. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and, analytics that help us understand how the Website is used. We use Google Analytics for this purpose; you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser opt-out tools Google provides. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

We adopt reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. In the event of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act.
